A better idea than a $50,000.00 fine, after all Poilievre just took in 5 million so it isn't going to hurt him is "show up or you are out of the race".
Mandatory really should mean mandatory. In the end, the $50,000 is going into the coffers of the party Poilievre is going to take over so it really isn't a disincentive.
Maybe the fine should be a $50,000 donation to the Liberals!
