Aaron Wherry joins me to discuss the latest in two federal leadership contests
A better idea than a $50,000.00 fine, after all Poilievre just took in 5 million so it isn't going to hurt him is "show up or you are out of the race".
I think Alex Tyrell was right when he said Elizabeth May was consolidating her power in the Green Party. She interfered in the last leadership race. She sent out this ridiculous letter that said, basically, "I can't endorse anyone, but Annamie Paul is a dear friend of mine...." It was a non-endorsement endorsement. I'm fairly certain it's the only reason Paul won. After all, she had some pretty disagreeable characteristics. I ranked her last. But May's endorsement meant something to a lot of Greens, so they voted her in and she was a disaster. But May hasn't recognized that she made a mistake in interfering. Instead, she's going to attempt to completely take over again. I can only hope she's not re-elected as leader. If she is, I think it will sound the party's death knell. We will slide into total irrelevancy.
