I knew some federal ridings like Halifax and Ottawa used to elect multiple representatives, but I had no idea that some provinces used to be entirely multi-member districts. Are the byelections themselves also being called faster (i.e. the time between the seat being vacated & the actual election)?
That's a good question, but I haven't checked that. Maybe I'll look into it!
