Do you think the Liberals seemingly having so many new opportunities is a one-off due to the NDP’s collapse (similar to the NDP sweeping Bloc territory in 2011)?
That definitely is a factor, I guess the question is whether it is truly a one-off or not. It's possible the Liberals could squeeze out the NDP for another election or two.
I had a similar thought to Adam. Where the NDP collapse is a factor, and where the Liberals still lost those seats, the Liberals would have likely maxed out their return in those ridings as any sort of NDP rebound would only worsen the Liberal numbers there.
