Welcome to the Weekly Writ, a round-up of the latest federal and provincial polls, election news and political history that lands in your inbox every Wednesday morning.

In today’s Weekly Writ, I take a look at who is officially in the running so far in the Conservative leadership race and why the dollar-dollar-bills will be what to watch.

Then, polls on what Canadians think of the Liberal-NDP deal, who is ahead in Ontario and Manitoba and what impact Brian Jean’s leadership could have on the beleaguered United Conservatives in Alberta.
