The Weekly Writ for Feb. 23
Jean Charest is back (maybe), a poll shows a stark partisan split on vaccination and I answer the question, "Joe Who?"
Welcome to the Weekly Writ, a round-up of the latest federal and provincial polls, election news and political trivia that lands in your inbox every Wednesday morning.
The streets are clear in Ottawa, so for the time-being we can return to regularly-scheduled politics, including a building “Draft Charest” movement and the resignation of the leader of the Saskatchewan NDP.
In this installment of the Weekly Writ, I also take a look at a trio of polls: a federal survey that shows a big partisan split by vaccination status, a Quebec poll that shows the CAQ leading and the Conservatives rising and a poll out of British Columbia that has decent news for Kevin Falcon, the new leader of the B.C. Liberals.
Finally, I profile (another) Brampton battleground, take you back to the 1976 PC leadership race and mark what will be the final milestone for Doug Ford before the Ontario election in June.
